Tracy Sestili speaks and writes about life experiences, bringing a fresh, honest and funny spin on life as we know it. With over 25 years of professional work experience, Sestili writes as a San Francisco Career Coach Examiner. She also is a foodie at heart and maintains a food blog about great places to feed your inner omnivore (Foodie Fool). She is a frequent contributor to Divine Caroline, Red Room and The Career Writer Network. Recently, Tracy wrote an essay which landed her an invite to the Oprah Winfrey Show. Currently, Tracy is seeking representation for two of her books which include a fiction book about Lily Laquintano, a woman who grew up in a crazy Italian household and whose entire life changes for the better after one tragic event. (See introduction and sample chapter) She is also completing a non-fiction book regarding the true grit in the nonprofit industry based on her and other’s experiences.

Background: A graduate of Shippensburg University, she was recently featured in their volunteer spotlight in the 2010 Winter edition of SHIP MAGAZINE and the recipient of the 2009 Shippensburg University Outstanding Young Alumnus award for her advocacy work in lung cancer.
She is the spokesperson and co-founder of the Beverly Fund Lung Cancer Foundation and has won a Bay Area Jefferson Award and the AT&T Community Spotlight Hero award for her work through the foundation. She has also held leadership positions as the Chair of the Lung Cancer Action Network co-operative and on the American Cancer Society’s SF Leadership Council.
She is a social media consultant whose passion is to show organizations, nonprofits and writers how to make an impact using social media with limited time, money, and resources. She speaks on social media, social networking, and lung cancer advocacy.
